The racing rules of sailing are revised and published every four years by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF), the international authority for the sport.
Rules in Practice 2009-2012 is primarily for competitive sailors who race in keelboats and dinghies. The Racing Rules of Sailing apply to all forms of sailboat racing.
